Bronx Stations

By 2030, four new Metro-North stations will open in the East Bronx — connecting Hunts Point, Parkchester/Van Nest, Morris Park, and Co-Op City directly to Manhattan's Penn Station.

Penn Station Access Project — East Bronx Metro-North Stations

Faster, More Reliable Access for the East Bronx

By 2030, four new Metro-North stations will open in the East Bronx as part of the Penn Station Access Project. These stations — Hunts Point, Parkchester/Van Nest, Morris Park, and Co-Op City — will provide faster, more reliable access to Manhattan, local jobs, schools, and cultural destinations.

This is one of the most significant transit investments in the East Bronx in decades, bringing infrastructure that residents have needed for years. StraitLeap will continue sharing updates and inviting community feedback as the improvements move forward.
